Congregation B'nai Harim is a Reform Jewish congregation which is affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism, the Jewish Federation of Northeast Pennsylvania and the Interfaith Council.  We welcome all Pocono residents and visitors to join us for religious services, cultural, social, adult, and family events. Please come and visit us. We welcome anyone who is interested in affirming his or her Jewish identity to join us for a service or any other activities or programs. Our new home is located at the intersection of Route 940, Sullivan Road and Sullivan Trail.

A few weeks ago, I finally graduated from high school. It was an experience full of joy, excitement, and exhilaration. After all of my hard work, I finally earned my High School Diploma! However, after the moment had passed, I realized an important lesson was to be learned from the accomplishment. Every great thing in life takes time. Whether it’s completing high school, or simply riding a bike for the first time, every task requires patience and perseverance. It is also important to keep your head up during the hard times, and remember that all of your hard work will be worth it. Everyone always tells you that time flies, but it really is true. Before you know it, you will be looking back on all of your experiences and realize how much you have accomplished in what seemed like a small amount of time. Enjoy every minute of every day, and always keep in mind that the longest journey always begins with the smallest step.
