It’s hard to believe it is already almost winter! It is almost time to pull out the menorah and light the Hanukkah candles. Although many people our age look forward to the holiday because of gift-giving, it is important to remember the true reason for the celebration of Hanukkah. Keep in mind the story of Judah Maccabee and the miracle of the oil lasting for eight full days. In addition, remember to spend time with family and appreciate all of the gifts your life has given you for free. Hanukkah is so much more than a gift-giving holiday; it is about family, tradition, and remembering our ancestors. Have a great holiday!
